How is Silestone made?

Silestone is manufactured with a state-of the-art computerized process that combines quartz minerals with binders using extreme pressure under vacuum.

Why is Silestone stain resistant?

Silestone is extremely dense, more so than plastic solid surface and natural stone.

What makes Silestone scratch resistant?

Silestone is composed of 93% quartz-only topaz, sapphire, and diamond are harder minerals than quartz.

Does heat affect Silestone?

Silestone can withstand normal cooking temperatures without scorching or burning. Direct application of hot pots is not recommended due to the risk of thermal shock.

Where can Silestone be used?

Silestone is suitable for any indoor surfacing application. It is an excellent surface for kitchen countertops because of its stain, heat, and scratch resistance.

How is Silestone maintained?

Silestone may be maintained by simply using normal household cleaners (dish soap, Windex, etc.).

Is Silestone guaranteed?
